Between a small ensuite vanity and a full double-basin unit sits a gap that a lot of bathrooms fall into: enough width for real storage, but still a single basin. The Amos 1200 fills that gap with a fluted wall-hung cabinet and a round vessel basin, in a choice of two finishes.
Light oak or matte white
The light oak finish leans into the timber-and-stone bathroom look currently everywhere in NZ renovations — warm against dark walls or exposed stone. The matte white version does the opposite job, brightening a darker-walled bathroom without the starkness of gloss. Same cabinet, same fluted detailing, genuinely different moods.
Why 1200mm is the sweet spot
Wide enough for two people to lay out toiletries side by side, but still a single bathroom vanity basin — which keeps plumbing simpler than a double-bowl install. The fluted cabinet front hides water spots and daily fingerprints noticeably better than a flat gloss door, which matters more on a piece this size than it does on a small ensuite unit.
Fitting notes
Wall-hung installation needs the same solid blocking as any floating vanity this size — confirm it with your builder before tiling closes off access to the studs.
