Iconic architecture and a vibrant previous influenced the renovation of this former Baptist church.
With its putting white steeple spearing the sky, sheltered at the rear of an imposing metal fence in the east Auckland suburb of Glendowie, it is as significantly a landmark currently as it was when crafted in 1964.

“There have been instances when we’ve been released to anyone who was baptised or married listed here, or whose youngsters went to the kindergarten the church held downstairs.”
