CANTON—How many can say they’ve had a project on their to ‘do list’ yet, they can’t find the time or don’t have the knowledge to get the job done?
If you’ve experienced that on occasion or perhaps multiple occasions, Chris Myers, Myers Remodeling and Handyman Services, is ready to help.

Graduating Avon High in 1999, he said he gained a lot of experience in construction and remodeling while in school, “I started off by doing siding and windows. I then moved to start building additions and remodeling. I could always find a way to make a space work and be utilized.”
He said he’s always considering new ideas, “Always think outside the box. I have always tried to learn from all my experiences.”

Myers went back to school to earn his teaching degree and is still striving to complete that goal.
Additionally, owning a business and being a community leader in more ways than one, was also a dream, “I felt Canton needed a small town, community living handyman; one that grandma and grandpa could call to get the toilet seat taken care of or the leaves removed from their yard.”

With, he said, a handyman who is very professional and can get bigger jobs done as well, “I feel Canton is a community that needs some local outreach in this trade. During these times we need someone that wants the community to thrive to help others and make things affordable. I want to be honest with my customers and give them the best support and customer service. I want to be able to give back a little to the community that my children have grown to love.”
Myers offers the following services:
•Windows, doors, lock installations
•Bathrooms and kitchen
•Drywall installation (patching and paint)
•Decks and fences
•Power wash and clean gutters
Living in Canton since 2008, he and his wife, Ashley have raised their son, Tristenano (TJ) and daughter, Delainey.
TJ graduated Canton High in 2021 and is currently a freshman at Eureka College. He plays basketball there, too. Delainey is currently a seventh grader at Ingersoll Middle School.
