AMGUARD Environmental Technologies created its American Innovators recognition program in celebration of the ingenuity, creativity, and work ethic — the American Spirit — that golf course management and pest industry professionals possess. Now the company is encouraging industry professionals to nominate a 2022 American Innovator before the nomination window closes on June 30.
Any golf course management or pest control professional is eligible. For golf, this includes golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents, equipment managers, irrigation technicians, distributor sales representatives, and owners. For pest control, technical directors, owners, office and branch managers, technicians, and sales representatives are eligible.
A selection committee composed of industry leaders and influencers will select winners later this year. One winner will be selected in each category, and each one will be awarded an extra-large, Legacy Series wooden American “Flag of Valor,” handcrafted by American veterans.
“When we launched the American Innovators in early 2022, we expected a positive response to this program because we knew that our industry is full of hardworking professionals who go ‘over and above’ to strive for excellence each day,” says Shayne M. The 2022 American Innovator for pest control will be recognized at PestWorld 2022, to be held in Boston in October. The 2022 American Innovator for golf course management will be recognized at the 2023 Golf Course Superintendents Association of American Conference and Trade Show, to take place in February 2023 in Orlando, Florida. Winners will also be featured on the AMGUARD website.
